Join U.S Martial Arts Academy' 2006 Camp!

Skokje's most popular Taekwondo Summer Camp ! Our martial arts summer camp is intended to be fun. It contains: arts and crafts, and stories to teach discipline and awareness, and to reinforce positive self-imagery. A variety of games are played to build hand-eye coordination and motor skills, and to increase physical endurance and attention span. Also included are the skills and opportunities to develop friendships.

Daily martial arts training emphasizes building self-confidence, discipline, and courtesy in children. Using gestures of respect and polite greetings, the structure of courtesy is built into our class instruction. The martial arts classes develop coordination and increase strength and flexibility, which is so important during growing years.

Some of our fun activities include: swimming 3x per week, movies, bowling, picnics, park trips, remote car day, derby car crafts, varied arts and crafts, various sports, and of course Karate classes everyday! We also have video entertainment including PlayStation, Game Cube and Nintendo 64.

Summer Camp sessions will begin June 12th and conclude August 25th. Summer camp is open Monday through Friday.

Drop-off: 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. Pick-up: 5:00 - 6:00 p.m.

Registration: $64.95 and includes summer camp uniform

Martial Arts Trial Program Curriculum

Under the guidance of our Black Belt staff, our weekly program will provide the following benefits to your child.

  1. Self-defense and life protection techniques.
  2. Respect for parents, teachers and law & order.
  3. Guidance on setting and achieving goals.
  4. Training to say "No!" to unhealthy peer pressure.
  5. Learn the arts of (add programs that your school offers).
  6. Advice on "How to Defeat the Bully Without Fighting".
  7. What to do if you are being teased or taunted.
